What a DMC is

One partner for everything that happens on the ground.

A Destination Management Company specializes in managing everything that happens in a destination: it plans and runs trips and events alongside local suppliers —hotels, restaurants, transportation companies and guides— so visitors get a seamless experience.

That covers lodging, ground and marine transportation, tours and excursions, event planning, activity coordination and food and beverage.

The difference is who answers when plans change: we operate in La Paz every day of the year. We don't coordinate from a distance.

Services

Six service lines that cover the whole program

We do more than improve a group's beach experience: we handle complex event logistics, so planners and attendees can enjoy the setting without worrying about the details.

01

Event planning and management

  • Corporate events on the beach. Conferences, meetings and retreats with an ocean theme: tents, audiovisual equipment and catering built for a beach setting.
  • Weddings and celebrations. Full planning, from choosing the venue to running the day itself: décor, music and photography.
02

Recreation and team building

  • Water sports. Snorkeling, surfing, kayaking and sandboarding on the El Mogote dunes, as a team-building program or as recreation.
  • Regattas and yacht evenings. Yacht and sailboat outings, including team regattas.
  • Beach tournaments. Volleyball, beach soccer or frisbee to build team spirit.
03

Transportation and lodging logistics

  • Private transportation. Airport transfers and transfers between tourist or corporate venues.
  • Lodging. Hotel bookings at the best rates and terms, especially for large groups.
04

Tours and special excursions

  • Islands and natural areas. Tours to Espíritu Santo Island —part of the UNESCO World Heritage site "Islands and Protected Areas of the Gulf of California"—, national parks and biosphere reserves, with certified guides and equipment included.
  • Marine wildlife. Whale watching, swimming with whale sharks, dolphins and sea turtles, depending on the season.
  • Sport fishing. Trips on a fully equipped boat with local experts on board.
05

Custom services

  • Concierge. Special requests handled, from restaurant reservations to surprises like fireworks on the beach.
  • Tailor-made packages. Lodging, activities and transportation combined around each client's preferences.
06

Catering and dining

  • Themed beach dinners. Mexican fiesta, Hawaiian luau or a sunset barbecue.
  • Local tastings. Fresh seafood, wines and regional products from Baja California Sur.
The destination

La Paz: city and nature twenty minutes apart

The capital of Baja California Sur and the gateway to the islands of the Sea of Cortez.

Aerial view of the La Paz coastline

City infrastructure, right on the water

La Paz offers a rare combination: an international airport, hotels, hospitals and restaurants twenty minutes from beaches and world-class protected natural areas.

A group can hold its business meeting in the morning and be sailing around Espíritu Santo in the afternoon, with no long transfers. That makes it especially efficient for incentives and short conventions, where the group's time is the most expensive resource.

Whale shark and gray whale seasons are authorized by CONANP, Mexico's protected areas agency, and the opening date is announced each year based on conditions, so we confirm them when quoting. "Best season for groups" means outside the peak of the Eastern Pacific hurricane season, which runs from May 15 to November 30. Access to the Espíritu Santo Archipelago Marine National Park carries a fee of MXN $225 per person per day, according to CONANP.

Experiences

Twelve ready-made programs to build your itinerary

We don't just organize events: we make them memorable, using the destination's culture and nature as our raw material.

How we work

A process with committed timelines

So you always know where your program stands.

Itinerary and budget as quickly as possible, with alternatives for weather and season.

STEP 03

STEP 04

Wrap-up

Final report with any incidents, group photos and service reconciliation.

Why us

We don't resell. We operate.

Most DMCs subcontract everything and disappear when something goes wrong. We have our own boats, equipment and staff, with a permanent team in La Paz.

When the weather turns or a supplier doesn't show up, we provide the solution. We don't go looking for one. That's the difference between a middleman and an operator.
